- MACH is always in need of volunteers to be Docents - or Museum guides - and helpers for the curator in assembling artifacts, creating artistic displays and helping with special events and programs. Persons interested in volunteering are invited to click the MACH - Docent Application Form_distributed" form below, fill out your information, and click the "Submit Form" button at the top right. When prompted, enter your e-mail address and your full name and select the appropriate means to transmit the completed form via your e-mail server.
- We are continually acquiring historical items, documents, photos and memorabilia relating to Ashe County History. Some donations are gifts, while others are on loan to the Museum. Persons interested in donating artifacts are invited to download and print the "MACH Donation Agreement Form" below; after filling out, submit the signed form to the museum with the item to be donated.
- All are welcome and all are treated with great respect.

- Families have always played a crucial role in Ashe County history and now the Museum of Ashe County History offers a unique way to honor loved ones.
- Custom-designed and hand-painted bricks will be incorporated into a special memorial wall and landscape garden on the courthouse grounds.
- For $100, a local artist will work with the donor to create an individual design to honor a family, special person or event.
- Persons interested in donating a Memorial Art brick are invited to download and print a copy of the "Buy a Brick Campaign" form below.

- Currently a limited number of rooms are seeking sponsors - an individual, a family or a corporation. This is a unique way to honor those individuals or groups who have a special place in Ashe County's history.
- For the sum of $50,000, paid now or as an acceptable pledge of the same amount, the donor may choose the room. Any person or group interested may request a MACH presentation which explains the options in detail.
- A bronze plaque will be placed at the entry of the room; the plaque will include the honoree's name and a tribute to the honored person or corporation.

- Architectural Restoration of Winston-Salem has almost completed their contract to completely restore the courthouse windows to their 1904 condition.
- Memorial donations of $1,000 are being accepted to cover the expense; each donor's or corporation's name will be engraved on bronze plaques placed at a prominent location in the entrance hallway.
- Persons, or corporations, that are interested in sponsoring a window are invited to download and print a copy of the "MACH - Heritage Window Sponsorship Form" below.
